I noticed that when I now make changes to a page in Image Manager, they change my website immediately without having to “save” them. I liked it better when you could play around with different looks without having to worry about making permanent alterations to your website. You had to remember to save the changes, but it was preferable.

Hi Steve,
You can make multiple websites. Just create another website to experiment. When you’re ready save your setup in a Preset so you can apply it to your other (live) website.
