New: Viewbook on your iPhone
Naturally we like the intuitive touchscreen and interface of the iPhone. So we made the Viewbook galleries and portfolio pages compatible for this great mobile device. Now you can check your Viewbook pages and galleries on your iPhone and show your images wherever you are.

Looks good!

Very cool feature, but from what I’ve seen, this feature does not work if the portfolio is embedded inside a site. Is this correct or am i missing something ?

@Fabrice The iPhone gallery does not work with an embedded gallery. Embedded galleries are embedded Flash galleries and cannot be displayed on the iPhone, because Flash is not working on the iPhone (Steve Jobs does not like Flash “because of it’s poor performance” on the iPhone). The iPhone gallery format that loads when you visit a gallery via your Viewbook URL loads a special gallery format designed for the iPhone. Our server can see that an iPhone visits your page and so loads the appropriate format.
@Jose The iPhone animation is a Flash movie displaying how the iPhone gallery looks/works. Just visit your own Viewbook gallery with your iPhone and it will display the iPhone format. Or load our demo gallery on your iPhone: http://demo.viewbook.com/mamabart

I would also say that if the site is visited by an ipod touch then it still does not show up! Maybe the viewbook code is only recognising iphones?

Can also confirm that the demo above [http://demo.viewbook.com/mamabart] does NOT work on an ipod touch. A page requesting download of the Abobe flash player comes up.

Can viewbook suggest a work around to embedded galleries to view on the iphone? Perhaps share with us the special link where we may display in our sites?

Some images are really small on the iPhone others are bigger but still small. Also images also move across the page till you get to the end but then if you go back the last image never leaves the others move behind it or from behind it.
