Create and Customize Portfolio Pages

With Viewbook you can create multiple web pages. Web pages are portfolio or project pages that bundle your presentations, to make them available to the public.

Since the official release of Viewbook in April 2008 web pages have more possibilities than before. You can now:


Create a web page

Creating a web page is simple. Follow the steps below.

1. Add a new web page Click the 'New' button at the right of the 'Webpages' tab. You can find the 'Webpages' tab in the left bottom of the Image Manager.

2. Change the name to edit the name of your web page, simply click it's title and edit. You can also click the 'details' button in the top to edit more web page details.

3. Add presentations to add presentations to you web page click on any of your presentations, hold down your mouse button and drag the presentation into your web page. Repeat this for any presentation you want to add to your web page.

4. Reorder presentations to reorder the presentations in your web page click and drag the presentation to the desired position.

5. View your web page click the 'View' button in the top right of the web pages window, this opens the public link to your web page.

6. Make the web page appear on your homepage, you can display a web page on your Viewbook homepage (username.viewbook.com). Click the 'details' button at the top of the web page editor and check the 'Set this web page as your homepage' checkbox.

If you upgrade to the Standard or Pro account you can optimize your web page for Google, add Google Analytics to track visitors and add a custom domain. Read the articles below to learn more:


Adding a custom Logo

You can also add a custom logo, or no logo at all. Read the how to add a custom logo section to learn more.


Customize Styles

Standard and Pro accounts allow you to change the styles of your web page. The following style options are available in the Styles bar, in the top of the web page editor:

Choose any of the options and click 'Save all' to save the style settings.
